Branford Castle Partners Acquires Fibrix Filtration

Branford Castle Partners has acquired Fibrix Filtration, a Charlotte-based manufacturer of high-loft and pleat media air filtration products, in a majority-control buyout that closed on August 13. Financing included senior debt from Byline Sponsor Finance and subordinated debt and an equity co-investment from Brookside Mezzanine Partners; Fibrix CEO Keith White remains in leadership and participated in the transaction.

Wind Point Partners Acquires Clean Solutions Group

Chicago-based private equity firm Wind Point Partners has acquired Clean Solutions Group (CSG), a U.S. manufacturer of nonwoven filtration media and sanitation products, from Branford Castle Partners (Fund II). CSG operates five manufacturing facilities across the Southeast with over 400 employees; Wind Point will partner with CEO Keith White and management to pursue organic expansion and an M&A-driven growth strategy to broaden production capabilities and end-market penetration.

Fibrix Filtration (backed by Branford Castle) Acquires Americo Manufacturing; Forms Clean Solutions Group

Fibrix Filtration, a portfolio company of Branford Castle Partners, has acquired Americo Manufacturing Co. from Blue Sage Capital and the founding Rones family and combined the two businesses under a new holding company, Clean Solutions Group. Brookside Capital Partners (subordinated debt and equity) and Byline Bank provided financing to support the transaction; Americo is a Georgia-based manufacturer of sustainable nonwoven floor pads, hand pads and matting.

CenterOak Partners Majority Recapitalizes HK Solutions Group

CenterOak Partners completed a majority recapitalization of HK Solutions Group, a Des Moines-based provider of water and wastewater infrastructure inspection, cleaning, repair and industrial services in the U.S. Midwest. The HK Solutions management team, led by CEO Wade Anderson, will remain in place as CenterOak plans to grow the business organically and via add-on acquisitions to expand service capabilities and market presence.

Nexus Capital Affiliate to Acquire HDT Global from Charlesbank Capital Partners

An affiliate of Nexus Capital Management LP has signed a definitive agreement to acquire HDT Global from Charlesbank Capital Partners. HDT, a Solon, Ohio–based manufacturer of expeditionary shelters, environmental control units, CBRN filtration systems, generators and other defense-focused equipment, will transition to Nexus pending customary approvals; financial terms were not disclosed.

Bay Street Manufacturing Acquires CKI Solutions (Cadence Keen Innovations)

Bay Street Manufacturing (HealthGuard) has acquired Florida-based CKI Solutions (a dba of Cadence Keen Innovations), the maker of Bed MadeEZ and other bedding accessories sold into hotels, cruise lines, RV and healthcare markets. The deal brings CKI's product portfolio, customer relationships and patented hospitality-focused bedding solutions into Bay Street's HealthGuard manufacturing platform to expand capabilities and service offerings for hospitality and retail customers.
