Echo Global Logistics has acquired FreightSaver, a Huntington Beach–based third-party logistics (3PL) provider that offers freight brokerage, managed transportation, and tech-enabled freight solutions. The acquisition expands Echo's managed transportation capabilities and geographic footprint across North America; terms were not disclosed.

The Jordan Company Affiliate Acquires Echo Global Logistics

An affiliate of private equity firm The Jordan Company completed the acquisition of Echo Global Logistics, Inc. for $48.25 per share in cash, taking the Chicago-based logistics provider private and suspending its Nasdaq trading. The Jordan Company said it will partner with Echo’s management to invest in the company’s technology and accelerate its long-term growth strategy.

AMS Fulfillment, a portfolio company of Fort Point Capital, has acquired EchoData Group, an omnichannel fulfillment provider with facilities in New Holland, Pennsylvania and New Castle, Delaware. The deal expands AMS's East Coast footprint and formalizes bi‑coastal fulfillment capabilities to offer faster delivery (same‑day to major coasts and two‑day to ~90% of the U.S.) for B2B and B2C customers across consumer products, educational products, marketing materials and subscription box verticals.
