Tide Rock Holdings, a San Diego-based strategic holding company, has acquired American Recycling Company, LLC of Modesto, California (renamed American Recycling Holdings, LLC). The full-service recycler — which handles paper, plastic, metal and organic waste and provides ESG-compliant analytics — will remain managed by its founders and will expand services and organics processing under Tide Rock's ownership.

San Diego-based private equity firm Tide Rock acquired the IT asset disposition (ITAD) assets of SIPI Asset Recovery (a division of Sipi Metals Corp.) and will fold those U.S. and Latin American operations into its portfolio company Full Circle Electronics. The add-on expands Full Circle's footprint to 11 facilities across the Americas (including new locations in Northern California, Illinois, Texas, Mexico and Colombia), roughly doubles headcount to nearly 400 employees, and strengthens its electronics recycling and reuse capabilities for enterprise customers.

The deal expands Tide Rock's PCB/EMS capabilities—adding design, quick-turn prototyping, box builds and production services—and keeps Pro-Active's management team in place while founder Toby Klusmeyer retires.

Tide Rock, an unlevered buyout firm, has acquired Premier LogiTech, a Dallas-based provider of integrated technology logistics and lifecycle services. The acquisition adds warehousing, asset management, configuration, repair/refurbishment, fulfillment and reverse-logistics capabilities to Tide Rock's portfolio; Premier also acquired the global license for Motorola networking products as part of the deal.
