As part of the partnership, Frontier will add operating partner Chris Fountain to ServiceTrade’s board to help scale the company’s market presence and product growth.

JMI Equity Leads $85M Growth Investment in ServiceTrade

ServiceTrade, a Durham-based SaaS provider for commercial service contractors, received an $85 million growth investment led by JMI Equity with participation from existing investors Frontier Growth and Bull City Venture Partners. The capital will accelerate product innovation and support ServiceTrade’s growth as it serves more than 800 contractor customers and the technicians who manage critical fire, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Laird Connectivity Acquires Boundary Devices

Laird Connectivity has acquired Boundary Devices, a Lake Forest, California-based designer and manufacturer of System-on-Modules (SOM) and Single Board Computers (SBC). The deal expands Laird Connectivity's embedded computing product portfolio and combines Boundary Devices' SOM/SBC capabilities, U.S.-based manufacturing and software support with Laird's wireless connectivity offerings.
