San Francisco-based workplace sensor and analytics company Density has acquired Paris-based AI/data science startup Prevision.io to accelerate Density's analytics, onboarding, and AI capabilities as part of a broader expansion into EMEA. The Prevision.io engineering team will remain in Paris and join Density's international effort to deliver privacy-first space analytics for customers across Europe.

The deal (OfficeSpace is backed by Vista Equity Partners and Resurgens Technology Partners) positions OfficeSpace as an AI operating system for the built environment, accelerating planning cycles, automating planner workloads, and improving occupancy and portfolio optimization.

The acquisition (terms undisclosed, reported to be in the hundreds of millions) will integrate HiredScore's responsible AI recruiting and internal mobility capabilities into Workday's talent management and Skills Cloud offerings to enhance recruiting, screening, and internal mobility for customers.
