Charlotte-based private equity firm Broadtree Partners has acquired Triage Partners, a Tampa-headquartered technology-enabled provider of cloud-based software and services for the telecommunications and reverse logistics industries. Broadtree named James Han President and said the partnership will support growth and the globalization of Triage’s SaaS and services offerings.

Huron Capital-backed TriStruX Acquires Hess Broadband

TriStruX, a Huron Capital-backed telecom infrastructure platform, has acquired Hess Broadband, a fiber optic splicing and specialty construction services provider based in Warwick, Pennsylvania. The deal is an add-on acquisition to expand TriStruX's fiber splicing and fiber network services capacity in the Northeast; Hess founders Fran and Dave Hess will remain in executive roles with a minority equity stake.

TowerBrook Capital Partners Acquires CBTS from altafiber

TAK Broadband Acquires Gulbranson Services

TAK Broadband has acquired Gulbranson Services, Inc. (GSI), a Victorville, California-based telecommunications contractor that provides drop bury, maintenance and fiber-to-the-home construction services, from founder Bob DeLaHoussaye. The deal is an accretive tuck-in to TAK (which is PE-backed by Platinum Equity) to strengthen TAK's Southern California presence and expand its FTTH construction and maintenance capabilities.

Broadtree Partners has acquired Contract Sweeping Services, LLC and Statewide Construction Sweeping, LLC and combined them under a new holding company, West Sweeping Services Holdings, LLC, to build a regional power-sweeping platform. The deal was financed with senior debt from Bank Prov and subordinated debt and equity from True West Capital Partners; Manvendra Saxena (Broadtree) will serve as President & CEO while founders Joe and Gina Vella remain equity holders and operational advisors.

Truelink Capital Acquires SouthernCarlson from Kyocera Corporation

Truelink Capital has acquired SouthernCarlson, a leading U.S. distributor of fasteners, tools, packaging and construction supplies, from Kyocera Corporation. The transaction is supported by a senior secured credit facility co-led by Bain Capital Credit and Goldman Sachs Alternatives to finance Truelink's purchase; SouthernCarlson will operate as an independent, nationwide platform to pursue organic growth and strategic M&A.
