Macquarie Asset Management Recapitalizes Coastal Waste & Recycling

A fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management has completed the recapitalization of Coastal Waste & Recycling and become the company's majority owner. Coastal, a vertically integrated solid waste and recycling operator headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, will continue to be led by CEO Brendon Pantano while prior investors Summer Street Capital Partners and Concentric Equity Partners exit and retain a minority stake alongside management.

Mascarene Partners Acquires Voyager Trucking Corporation

Mascarene Partners has partnered with Voyager Trucking Corporation's management to acquire Voyager, a Newark, New Jersey–based waste hauling and transfer station management company that operates across nine U.S. East Coast states. Financing was provided by a lender group led by Man Varagon, Onex Credit and Amateras AEA; Voyager's management will remain shareholders and continue to lead the business as Mascarene supports further organic growth and add-on M&A.

MML Infrastructure Private Equity Acquires Waste Vision

Meridian Waste Acquires Evergreen Environmental Partners Holdings LLC and ADSI Holdings LLC

Meridian Waste Acquisitions, LLC has acquired the stock of Evergreen Environmental Partners Holdings LLC (EEP) and ADSI Holdings LLC from BTG Pactual Strategic Capital, expanding Meridian Waste’s Southeast footprint. The deal adds the Noble Hill municipal solid waste landfill, an EEP transfer station, more than 50 municipal contracts and additional hauling, administrative and maintenance facilities servicing customers across Alabama and Mississippi; Meridian Waste will integrate the assets with support from its private equity partner Warren Equity Partners.

Mangrove Equity Partners Acquires Atlas Greenhouse

Mangrove Equity Partners, a Tampa-based lower middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Atlas Greenhouse, an Alapaha, Georgia-based manufacturer and distributor of commercial greenhouses and related accessories. Heritage Capital Group served as Atlas's exclusive financial advisor; Mangrove said it will partner with Atlas president Mark Davis to professionalize operations and support the company's next phase of growth.

Mangrove Equity Partners has made a platform investment in Vintage Air, LLC, a San Antonio–based specialty manufacturer of performance aftermarket air conditioning systems for classic and late-model cars and trucks. The deal brings Mangrove's operational team together with Vintage Air's senior management to expand product R&D, optimize manufacturing efficiency and support a leadership transition for founder Jack Chisenhall.
