Phoenix Stamping Group Acquires Stampsource

On December 14, 2020 Phoenix Stamping Group (a division of PHX Holdings) acquired Stampsource, a Charlotte, North Carolina metal stamping and fabrication manufacturer. The acquisition adds capacity and redundancy — Stampsource will be integrated as Plant 04 of Phoenix Stamping Group with Michael Pinkerton remaining as General Manager.

Eberhart Capital Acquires The Equipment Source, LLC

Eberhart Capital, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based private equity firm, has acquired The Equipment Source, LLC, a Naples, Florida-based tool and equipment rental company serving contractors and consumers. The Equipment Source will join Eberhart Capital sister company Contractor Sales & Service, and management transitioned from founder Billy Martinez to Steve Acquafresca as general manager; terms were not disclosed.

Images (IDI), a manufacturer of durable and graphic-intensive product identification labels headquartered in Brunswick, Ohio. The Carlyle Group Acquires Majority Stake in Memsource

The Carlyle Group has acquired a majority stake in Prague-based language translation software provider Memsource, with equity coming from Carlyle Europe Technology Partners IV. Memsource’s management team, including founder and CEO David Čaněk, will remain shareholders; financial terms were not disclosed. The investment is intended to accelerate Memsource’s growth across key markets including North America and Asia.
