DMI, a Bethesda-based digital transformation services firm and portfolio company of OceanSound Partners, has acquired The Ambit Group LLC, a provider of data analytics, cybersecurity, and mission support services to U.S. federal agencies. The deal strengthens DMI's capabilities and contract portfolio in federal civilian and defense markets; terms were not disclosed.

The deal adds roughly 180 specialists to Davies’ U.S. Life & Health claims capability and strengthens its claims administration offering; 7 Mile Advisors served as exclusive sell‑side advisor to DMS.
