Transplace Acquires ScanData Systems to Add Parcel TMS Capabilities

The acquisition expands Transplace's parcel and eCommerce capabilities, enabling customers to optimize carrier selection, labeling, tracking and invoice reconciliation across high-volume parcel shippers.

Uber Freight Acquires Transplace from TPG Capital for $2.25B

Uber Freight has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Transplace from TPG Capital for approximately $2.25 billion, consisting of up to $750 million in Uber common stock and the remainder in cash. The deal combines Uber Freight's large digitally-enabled carrier network with Transplace's managed transportation and shipper-facing technology to create a scaled end-to-end logistics platform and accelerate Uber Freight's path to profitability.

Supply Chain Services (Sole Source Capital) Acquires Coridian Technologies, Inc.

Sole Source Capital-backed portfolio company Supply Chain Services has acquired Coridian Technologies, a provider of labeling, barcoding, data collection, and RFID solutions headquartered near Chanhassen, Minnesota. The transaction is the third add-on for Supply Chain Services and expands the platform's AIDC product and services capabilities across healthcare, manufacturing, and warehouse/distribution end markets.

PLS Logistics Services Acquires D&L Transport

PLS Logistics Services, a technology-driven third-party logistics provider based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, has acquired D&L Transport, a freight brokerage headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. D&L will operate as an independent subsidiary with Brian DeFrain remaining president, and PLS expects the transaction to increase its annual revenue run rate to $950 million (with a projected ~$1.2 billion in 2022).

Quantix Acquires CLX Logistics

Quantix SCS, a Wind Point Partners portfolio company, has acquired CLX Logistics, a Blue Bell, Pennsylvania-based provider of chemical-focused transportation management systems, managed services, liquid bulk 3PL and analytics. The deal expands Quantix's capabilities in liquid bulk and technology, creating a combined chemical-focused 3PL platform with more than $2 billion in logistics spend, approximately 5,400 owned assets, 40+ distribution centers and rail terminals, and 3,300 partner carrier relationships.
