Kpler Acquires Spire Maritime from Spire Global

Kpler has completed the acquisition of Spire Maritime, the maritime data and ship-tracking business of Spire Global, in a transaction reported at approximately $241 million. The deal (a divestiture by Spire Global) strengthens Kpler’s maritime data and analytics capabilities; Kpler and regulators including the UK CMA have been engaged as the transaction completed.

Schneider Geospatial Acquires Spatialest

KKR to Acquire Exact Software from Funds Advised by Apax Partners

KKR has reached an agreement in principle to acquire Exact Software from funds advised by Apax Partners. Exact, headquartered in Delft, the Netherlands, is a provider of accounting and ERP software for SMEs and mid-market firms; the company employs ~1,400 people and will consult with its works council prior to closing. Terms were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

NV5 Global Acquires Quantum Spatial from Arlington Capital Partners

NV5 Global, Inc. completed the acquisition of Geospatial Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries including Quantum Spatial in an all-cash transaction (reported around $303–$318 million). The acquisition expands NV5's geospatial data analytics capabilities and diversifies its customer base across federal, state and commercial clients, with Arlington Capital Partners selling the company.

Keysight Technologies Acquires Spirent Communications plc

Keysight Technologies has completed its acquisition of Spirent Communications plc for approximately £1.16 billion (about US$1.46 billion) on a fully diluted basis. Spirent shareholders receive 202.5 pence per share (199p cash plus a 3.5p special dividend); Spirent will be integrated into Keysight’s Communications Solutions Group while certain Spirent business lines will be divested to satisfy regulatory conditions.
