Conductor Acquires Searchmetrics

Conductor, the New York-based enterprise organic marketing (SEO) platform, has acquired European SEO technology provider Searchmetrics to accelerate its expansion in Europe and integrate Searchmetrics’ data assets and engineering team. The deal brings Searchmetrics’ ~70 employees, 500+ global customers (per Source 1) and long-standing European presence into Conductor’s product and support footprint to deliver greater global platform capabilities.

CoreWeave Acquires Conductor Technologies

CoreWeave, a specialized GPU-focused cloud provider, acquired Conductor Technologies, a cloud-based rendering and task management platform for VFX, animation and visualization studios. The deal brings Conductor's team into CoreWeave (bringing total headcount to ~95) and extends CoreWeave's capabilities to offer integrated burst rendering and workflow orchestration for media and entertainment customers.

Scribeur's founder Sébastien Raynoird-Thal will become Country Manager for Contents France and Scribeur staff will be integrated with no layoffs; legal advisors on the deal included Taylor Wessing LLP and EY Advisory SpA.

The deal was announced August 26, 2019 alongside a new funding round supported by investors including Battery Ventures, Shasta Ventures, USVP, 3TS Capital Partners, SC Ventures and StarVest Partners.
