Edanz Inc., a subsidiary of Japan's M3 Inc., has acquired Scribendi Inc., an ISO 9001:2015-certified online editing and proofreading company headquartered in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. The deal combines Edanz's author/researcher services and freelance network with Scribendi's editing platform and NLP/AI technologies to create a global language and publication solutions provider and expand both companies' geographic reach and capabilities.
