Western States Reclamation LLC (a portfolio company of Strength Capital Partners) has acquired Ecological Resource Consultants, Inc., a Lakewood, Colorado-based engineering and ecological science firm focused on water-resource and mining-related projects. The acquisition is an add-on to WSR intended to expand its geographic reach and service offering across environmental and water-resources projects in the Western United States and globally for mining clients.

Onex Partners and KKR Invest in Resource Environmental Solutions (RES)

Onex Partners V (part of Onex Corporation) has agreed to make a significant investment in Resource Environmental Solutions (RES) alongside funds affiliated with existing investor KKR and participation from RES management. The growth capital will support RES' continued organic growth, product-line expansion (including coastal resiliency, water-quality projects, mitigation banks and carbon solutions) and M&A; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close in the first quarter subject to customary conditions and approvals.

RES Acquires E Sciences Inc. and Sandra Walters Consultants, Inc. in Florida

Resource Environmental Solutions (RES) has acquired two Florida-based ecological consulting firms — E Sciences Inc. (headquartered in Orlando) and Sandra Walters Consultants, Inc. (headquartered in the Florida Keys) — expanding RES’s presence and capabilities across the state. The transactions add regional expertise in ecological consulting, permitting, mitigation design and coastal/marine resiliency; the principals of both firms will remain with RES to help lead its Florida operations.

Superior Environmental Solutions (Rosewood-backed) Acquires Resource-One

Resource-One, founded in 1999 and headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, provides recycling, waste management and product-destruction services; the deal expands SES's capabilities and customer base across several industrial end markets.

EIS Holdings Acquires Eagle Environmental Consulting

EIS Holdings, LLC acquired Eagle Environmental Consulting, Inc., a Wheat Ridge, Colorado-based environmental consulting firm, expanding EIS’ remediation and environmental services footprint into the Northwest (Colorado and New Mexico). The deal is EIS’ second strategic acquisition in 2022 as the company continues building a national environmental remediation and infrastructure platform.

Resolution Group Acquires Little Red River Consultants LLC

Indianapolis-based Resolution Group, Inc. has acquired Little Red River Consultants LLC, an environmental consulting firm headquartered in Seymour, Indiana. The acquisition expands RGI’s environmental capabilities and service offerings; Little Red River’s founder, Rachele Baker, will join RGI as Director of its new Environmental Services Group.
