Western States Reclamation Acquires Naranjo Civil Constructors to Form Western States Water

Western States Reclamation (a portfolio company of Strength Capital Partners) has completed the acquisition of Naranjo Civil Constructors and combined Naranjo with WSR and WSR subsidiary Ecological Resource Consultants under the newly formed Western States Water. The deal expands WSR’s environmental reclamation and specialty civil contracting capabilities, adding Naranjo’s expertise in natural waterways, urban drainage and structural concrete, and integrates a workforce of over 100 employees.

Strength Capital Partners has invested in and acquired Western States Reclamation, a Frederick, Colorado-based environmental and specialty civil contracting company. Midwest Mezzanine and Northcreek Mezzanine provided subordinated debt and equity to support the transaction and First Merchants Bank participated as a financing partner; Strength plans to pursue a buy-and-build strategy to grow the business.

EIS Holdings Acquires Eagle Environmental Consulting

EIS Holdings, LLC acquired Eagle Environmental Consulting, Inc., a Wheat Ridge, Colorado-based environmental consulting firm, expanding EIS’ remediation and environmental services footprint into the Northwest (Colorado and New Mexico). The deal is EIS’ second strategic acquisition in 2022 as the company continues building a national environmental remediation and infrastructure platform.

Trinity Consultants Acquires WestLand Resources

The acquisition expands Trinity's Water & Ecology capabilities and geographic footprint across the Western United States while providing WestLand employees immediate shareholder opportunities within Trinity.

RES Acquires E Sciences Inc. and Sandra Walters Consultants, Inc. in Florida

(headquartered in the Florida Keys) — expanding RES’s presence and capabilities across the state. The transactions add regional expertise in ecological consulting, permitting, mitigation design and coastal/marine resiliency; the principals of both firms will remain with RES to help lead its Florida operations.

The Redwing team will continue operating from its Louisville office as RES expands its turnkey restoration, mitigation banking, and long-term stewardship capabilities across Kentucky and neighboring states.
