The Recreational Group (RG), a Dalton, Georgia-based recreational surfacing products provider, has acquired three turf distribution and installation companies—Turf Factory Direct, EasyGrass, LLC and Synthetic Grass Pros—to expand its geographic footprint and installation capabilities. The acquisitions add distribution reach and regional installation presence in South Florida and the Dallas–Fort Worth / Houston markets and enhance RG's ability to serve both wholesale and retail customers.

The Recreational Group is a vertically integrated platform operating turf manufacturing, modular tile manufacturing, distribution and installation brands including Viridian Fiber, Engineered Turf, CH3, SwissTrax and VersaCourt.

AstroTurf Corporation Acquires Coast to Coast Turf

The deal expands AstroTurf’s presence in the U.S. Northwest — with Coast to Coast Turf serving as AstroTurf’s official construction arm for Washington, Oregon, Montana and Idaho — and retains the target’s leadership under Steve Webb.

TenCate Grass Acquires Sports & Leisure Group from Sun European Affiliate

TenCate Grass Holding B.V. has acquired Sports & Leisure Group (SLG), a vertically integrated artificial turf systems manufacturer headquartered in Sint‑Niklaas, Belgium. The shares were sold by an affiliate of Sun European Partners; former SLG shareholders, including the Sun European affiliate, will reinvest part of the sale proceeds into TenCate. The deal expands TenCate's geographic footprint and Outdoor Living portfolio across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and South America.
