Sentinel Capital Partners has acquired The Recreational Group (RG), a Dalton, Georgia-based designer, manufacturer and installer of premium recreational surfacing products, from Eagle Merchant Partners. The Recreational Group is a vertically integrated platform operating turf manufacturing, modular tile manufacturing, distribution and installation brands including Viridian Fiber, Engineered Turf, CH3, SwissTrax and VersaCourt.

Terms were not disclosed; the transaction represents an exit for previous sponsor Clearview Capital and positions Controlled Products for acquisitive and organic growth under Sentinel's ownership.
