ITV plc Acquires Plimsoll Productions from LDC for £131m

ITV plc has acquired Bristol-based independent production company Plimsoll Productions from private equity investor LDC in a transaction valuing Plimsoll at £131 million. Plimsoll — a leading producer of natural history, documentary and factual entertainment — will remain an independent brand with its existing management continuing to run the business, while ITV aims to strengthen its international content offering and natural history capability.

Hybrid, which serves higher education institutions and global technology brands and employs more than 70 people across offices in Bristol, Kuala Lumpur and Sydney, will retain its management team while founder James Craven remains as a Board Director.
