Momentum Manufacturing Group, a large specialty metal manufacturer headquartered in Georgetown, Massachusetts, has acquired H&M Metals of Amherst, New Hampshire. The acquisition adds roughly 100,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity and nearly 100 employees to Momentum's operations, expanding its sheet metal fabrication, assembly and value‑added manufacturing capabilities in the Northeast.

PrecisionX Group Acquires National Manufacturing Co.

PrecisionX Group, a portfolio company of CORE Industrial Partners, has acquired National Manufacturing Co., a Piscataway, New Jersey-based specialist in deep and shallow drawn metal stamping and precision CNC machining. The deal expands the PrecisionX platform’s manufacturing capabilities and capacity—particularly in medical and aerospace end markets—adding National’s 90,000 sq. ft. facility and extensive tooling and finishing capabilities to the platform.

Hummock Industries Acquires National Bronze Manufacturing

Hummock Industries (Reading, Pennsylvania) has acquired Roseville, Michigan-based National Bronze Manufacturing, a producer and distributor of precision machined bronze bearings, bushings, wear plates and copper alloy bar and tube. Hummock said the purchase complements its subsidiary Heyco Metals, diversifies revenue streams and provides a platform to grow downstream into value-added engineered products.

Nix Industrial Acquires Majority Ownership of Huncilman Sheet Metal Fabrication

Poseyville-based Nix Industrial acquired majority ownership of New Albany-based Huncilman Sheet Metal Fabrication in a deal completed Aug. 12; financial terms were not disclosed. The combination creates a workforce of more than 200 employees, retains Parker Huncilman in a leadership/ownership role while outgoing owners Gordon and Jeffery Huncilman transition away, and is intended to expand capabilities and scale in metal fabrication across Indiana and the broader Midwest.

JM Family Enterprises Acquires National Truck Protection from Kinderhook Industries

JM Family Enterprises, through its JM&A Group division, acquired National Truck Protection (NTP) from Kinderhook Industries. NTP, headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is a leading administrator of vehicle service contracts for used commercial vehicles and will become a division of JM&A Group to expand JM Family's F&I and protection product offerings.

Hoffmann Family of Companies Acquires Derby Fabricating Solutions

Hoffmann Family of Companies, a family-owned private equity firm, has acquired Derby Fabricating Solutions, a manufacturer of die-cut nonmetallic materials and NVH components serving automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and the appliance industry. Derby operates four Midwest production facilities (Louisville and Cadiz, Kentucky; Sidney, Ohio; Rockford, Michigan) and is IATF 16949 certified; the transaction strengthens Hoffmann's manufacturing vertical and expands its capabilities in automotive component fabrication.
