Comar Acquires Omega Packaging

Comar, a specialty medical-device and packaging manufacturer majority-owned by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, has acquired Omega Packaging, a La Mirada, California-based maker of injection- and blow-molded closures and jars. The deal—backed by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners and financed by Golub Capital Credit Opportunities with participation from Brightwood Capital and Everberg Capital—expands Comar's rigid packaging portfolio, adds child-resistant and continuous-thread closure capacity, and brings precision mold-making capabilities to its platform.
