The combined business will rebrand as Intelvio to create a broader healthcare training platform addressing allied health workforce shortages in the United States.

Edgewater Capital Partners has entered into an agreement to acquire Haematologic Technologies Incorporated, a Vermont-based provider of biologic products, reagents and GMP-compliant assay development and testing services for the biopharmaceutical industry. Edgewater said it will support HTI's next phase of growth and build the company as a premier outsourced services partner for biologics; financial terms were not disclosed.

Arcline Investment Management, a growth-oriented private equity firm, has acquired Polypeptide Therapeutic Solutions, S.L. (PTS) from Columbus Venture Partners. PTS is a Valencia-based GMP CDMO specializing in polyamino-acid (PAA) nanoparticle encapsulation and related drug-delivery services; Arcline plans to scale GMP production and expand the company's technology portfolio to support mRNA, gene/cell therapies, biologics and vaccines.

Premier Biotech, a portfolio company of Align Capital Partners, has acquired National Test Systems (NTS), a provider of rapid point-of-care drug screening supplies and services that serves more than 1,500 facilities across the United States. The acquisition expands Premier's point-of-care testing capabilities (including oral fluid testing) and deepens its presence in government and behavioral health end markets; NTS CEO Andrew Panico will remain involved to support the transition.
