Banyan Software, a permanent-capital software acquirer based in Atlanta, has acquired DataDesign Solutions, an education data analytics and intelligence vendor headquartered in Monterey, California. The deal brings DataDesign's K–12-focused analytics dashboards, student tracking tools, and mobile apps into Banyan's portfolio to support product growth and customer-focused development.

Bilt Rewards has acquired Banyan, the item-level receipt data platform that has analyzed more than 20 billion receipts and processed over $200 billion in spend. The acquisition (Bilt's first) will integrate Banyan's receipt-level intelligence into Bilt's payments and neighborhood commerce network to power hyper-personalized rewards, automated FSA/HSA reimbursements, and expanded merchant experiences; Banyan will continue to operate independently under CEO Jehan Luth.
