Oak Hill Capital Acquires Otelco Inc.

Oak Hill Capital, through an entity formed by the firm, agreed to acquire Otelco Inc. for $11.75 per share (approximately $40.6 million equity purchase price) with an enterprise value of about $105.6 million. The deal, announced July 27, 2020, closed March 31, 2021; Oak Hill intends to accelerate Otelco’s fiber-to-the-premises deployment and combine Otelco with its fiber investments GoNetspeed and Lantek to expand fiber network capabilities and geographic reach.

Existing shareholders including Stephens Capital Partners, The Pritzker Organization and Lit management remain shareholders; the funding will support construction to reach more than 200,000 locations over the next few years.
