The Mufflerman Inc., a portfolio company of Argyle Capital Partners, acquired five EuroMechanic-branded automotive repair and tire locations in the Greater Toronto Area and Guelph from Carflex, Inc. The deal, which closed on November 3, 2023, expands The Mufflerman's multi-brand network and adds niche European-vehicle repair capability while EuroMechanic will continue to operate as a distinct division.

MC Machinery Systems Inc. has acquired Ferro Technique Ltd., a Mississauga-based multi-line distributor of machine tools, from Argyle Capital Partners and investment partner Sharno Group. The transaction gives MC Machinery expanded distribution and service capabilities in eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes) and represents a strategic geographic and service-network expansion for the buyer.

Marmon Holdings Acquires AP Emissions Technologies

Marmon Holdings Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company, has acquired AP Emissions Technologies, LLC, a manufacturer of catalytic converters, mufflers and exhaust systems headquartered in Goldsboro, North Carolina. AP's management team will remain in place and Marmon expects to invest in innovation and automation to grow AP's manufacturing and fulfillment capabilities across the automotive aftermarket and truck end markets.
