Borgman Capital has acquired Aerial Work Platforms, Inc. (AWP), a Wisconsin-based company that rents, sells and services aerial lift equipment, from founder and president Pat Barney. Borgman — a Milwaukee-based private equity firm — will support AWP's future growth and continuity; Associated Bank provided senior financing for the transaction.

The buyer committed a two-month customer rebate (~$1.5 million total) and plans to invest in sewer infrastructure and expand AWT’s service footprint to additional communities to improve resiliency and service delivery.

Borgman Capital Acquires Harlo Corporation

The transaction transfers ownership from the Crooks family to Borgman Capital; Harlo will continue to operate under its name with existing leadership and 54 employees, and will gain resources to expand capacity and product development.
