Chicago-based private equity firm CIVC Partners has acquired Datavail, a data managed services provider, from a group of growth investors led by Catalyst Investors. CIVC said it will partner with Datavail’s management to accelerate organic and inorganic growth, invest in tech enablement, and expand sales and alliance channels.

Advantage Solutions Acquires Quantum Networks

Advantage Solutions has acquired Quantum Networks, a New York City–based e-commerce retailer and agency that represents more than 100 brands across major online marketplaces. The acquisition brings Quantum's Amazon/marketplace selling and brand-management capabilities into Advantage Digital Technology to expand Advantage's omnichannel e-commerce and digital services offering; terms were not disclosed.

Advantive Acquires DataNet and PQ Systems

Advantive, a mission-critical software provider for specialty manufacturing and distribution businesses, has acquired DataNet (maker of WinSPC) and PQ Systems (provider of SQCpack and GAGEpack) to expand its statistical process control (SPC), quality and gage calibration software capabilities. The deals broaden Advantive's manufacturing software portfolio and deepen its ability to serve customers across manufacturing and distribution end markets.

Cognizant Acquires Collaborative Solutions

The deals follow an investment in Solve by affiliates of Charlesbank Capital Partners and are intended to expand Solve's credit data, proprietary analytics and fixed-income pricing capabilities.
