Amphenol Corporation Acquires MTS Systems Corporation

Amphenol Corporation completed its acquisition of MTS Systems Corporation for $58.50 per share (approximately $1.7 billion including assumed debt). Amphenol said the deal expands its sensor and sensor-based product portfolio (MTS Sensors expected to add ~ $350 million in sales in the first twelve months) and plans to sell MTS's Test & Simulation business to Illinois Tool Works for $750 million subject to regulatory approvals.

SaaS Opportunity Capital Acquires Celera Systems

Midwest-based private equity firm SaaS Opportunity Capital (SOC) has acquired Celera Systems, a Milwaukee-based provider of workflow and order/fulfillment software used by large financial services firms. SOC intends to expand Celera's platform beyond its historical bundled distribution model with Toppan Merrill, accelerate integrations (CRM, DAM), add AI capabilities, and bring the solution to a broader set of financial services and regulated-enterprise customers.

Turnspire Capital Partners Acquires MPI Holdings

The acquisition expands Kamet's capabilities from component manufacturing to systems manufacturing, supports its 'Made in America' strategy and adds MT Systems' 30-person engineering and manufacturing team to Kamet's U.S. footprint.

Renesas Electronics Acquires Celeno Communications

Renesas Electronics Corporation completed the acquisition of Celeno Communications on December 20, 2021, for approximately US$315 million, with payments to be made progressively upon achieving certain milestones. Celeno — an Israel‑based developer of advanced Wi‑Fi chipsets and software (including Wi‑Fi 6/6E solutions and Doppler Imaging technology) — becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Renesas, expanding Renesas' connectivity and Wi‑Fi product portfolio for IoT, industrial, home networking and automotive applications.

AnaBios Acquires Cell Systems

AnaBios Corporation has acquired Cell Systems, a Kirkland, Washington supplier of human primary cells and cell culture media, to expand its human tissue and cell portfolio and accelerate translational drug discovery. Financing for the transaction was provided by AnaBios' existing investors, including Ampersand Capital Partners; financial terms were not disclosed.
