Pittsburgh-based private equity firm 3 Rivers Capital has acquired a majority stake in Gaven Industries, Inc., a Saxonburg, Pennsylvania manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) and magnetic shielding for defense, industrial and medical clients. 3 Rivers Capital said it will expand Gaven's operational infrastructure and grow the company's client base to build on its existing market position.

Weinberg Capital Group and Salt River Aviation Acquire Aviocraft

Weinberg Capital Group and its portfolio company Salt River Aviation have acquired Aviocraft, an FAA Part 145–certified MRO provider based in Chandler, Arizona. The add-on expands Salt River Aviation's repair and overhaul capabilities for aircraft batteries, chargers, communications equipment, galleys, relays and other accessories.
