CONMED Acquires Biorez, Inc.

CONMED Corporation has completed the acquisition of Biorez, Inc., a New Haven, Connecticut-based medical device start-up that developed the BioBrace bioinductive scaffold for soft-tissue reinforcement and healing. The acquisition, financed through CONMED's existing credit facility, adds the BioBrace implant technology to CONMED's surgical product portfolio to expand its capabilities in soft-tissue repair.
