Quanta Services completed the acquisition of Dynamic Systems (DSI), a turnkey mechanical, plumbing and process infrastructure solutions provider headquartered in Austin, Texas. The transaction, which closed July 25, 2025, expands Quanta's mechanical construction and off-site fabrication capabilities, adds a ~2,400-employee platform and diversified end-market exposure (technology/semiconductor, healthcare, industrial) and was funded with cash and Quanta stock (approximately $1.35 billion upfront plus potential earnout).

Daikin Applied Acquires Dynamic Controls Inc.

Kadant Acquires Dynamic Sealing Technologies

Kadant Inc. has completed the acquisition of Dynamic Sealing Technologies LLC (DSTI) for approximately $55 million in cash. DSTI, a manufacturer of fluid rotary unions and electrical slip rings based in Andover, Minnesota (approximately 90 employees and ~$25M trailing twelve-month revenue), will join Kadant's Flow Control segment to expand its engineered fluid sealing and transfer capabilities and extend presence into adjacent end markets.

IK Investment Partners Acquires Majority Stake in GeoDynamics

IK Investment Partners' IK Small Cap II Fund has agreed to acquire a majority stake in GeoDynamics from Sofindev and the company's management team. GeoDynamics, a Kortrijk-based SaaS provider of location-based fleet and mobile workforce management software, will continue to be led by founders Peter Vermeesch and Stijn Stragier who will reinvest alongside IK as the company pursues expansion beyond Belgium.

The add-on acquisition, which closed January 2, 2026, expands SBS’s intelligent design platform with GSI’s cloud-based Distribution Design Studio (DDS) and mobile Forester field offerings to better serve utilities and infrastructure customers across North America and Europe.

The Stephens Group Acquires Kinetics Noise Control to Form Catalyst Acoustics Group

The Stephens Group, a Little Rock-based private investment firm, finalized the acquisition of Kinetics Noise Control, a Dublin, Ohio designer and manufacturer of acoustic and vibration-control products. The firm simultaneously formed Catalyst Acoustics Group as a platform to house Kinetics alongside other noise-control businesses (including Sound Seal, IAC Acoustics, Noise Barriers and Lamvin) to consolidate capabilities and expand market coverage.
