MacLean Power Systems has completed the acquisition of Dotson Iron Castings, a century-old ductile iron foundry based in Mankato, Minnesota. The purchase furthers MacLean's vertical-integration strategy to strengthen its U.S. supply chain, increase production capacity and shorten lead times for utility and communications infrastructure products; Dotson CEO Tyson Twait will join MPS as Vice President and General Manager of Mankato Operations.
