Keurig Dr Pepper Acquires DSD Territory Rights in East Texas and Northern Louisiana

Keurig Dr Pepper agreed to acquire the manufacturing, sales and direct-store-delivery (DSD) distribution rights to key KDP-owned and licensed brands across 37 counties in east Texas and northern Louisiana from The Red River Beverage Group and The Made‑Rite Company. The move brings brands such as Canada Dry, A&W, 7UP, Sunkist, Snapple, CORE and Bai into KDP’s company-owned DSD operations beginning February 2021; terms were not disclosed.

Heartland Dental Acquires American Dental Partners (ADPI)

Heartland Dental, the Effingham, Illinois-based dental support organization majority owned by KKR, signed an agreement to acquire American Dental Partners (ADPI), a Wakefield, Massachusetts–based DSO that supports 23 dental group practices and roughly 278 locations. ADPI, a portfolio company of JLL Partners, will join Heartland’s network (creating a combined footprint of over 2,300 supported dentists and more than 1,400 locations); the deal is structured as an add-on to Heartland’s KKR-backed platform and is expected to close in Q2 2021 subject to customary conditions.

The acquisition expands House Foods' portfolio of value-added tofu and plant-based products and supports accelerated U.S. market expansion, adding KNH's Folcroft, Pennsylvania manufacturing capabilities to House Foods' North American footprint.

Incline Equity Partners Acquires Specialty Products and Insulation (SPI) from Dunes Point Capital

Incline Equity Partners has acquired Specialty Products and Insulation (SPI), a Charlotte-based value-added distributor and fabricator of insulation and complementary products, from Dunes Point Capital, LP. SPI operates 59 distribution branches and 16 fabrication facilities serving commercial, industrial and residential markets across the U.S. and Canada and will expand Incline's footprint in building-products distribution and specialty fabrication.
