Japan-based Shinagawa Refractories Co., Ltd. has acquired Gouda Refractories Group B.V., a Netherlands-headquartered manufacturer of (high-)alumina refractories and refractory services. The deal gives Shinagawa an established European manufacturing footprint and service network to accelerate its Vision 2030 global expansion and generate cross-selling and R&D synergies.
