Rexel Acquires Wasco from Gilde

Rexel Group has agreed to acquire Wasco, a leading Dutch wholesaler in heating, plumbing, spare parts and HVAC, from Gilde Equity Management and Wasco management. The transaction, subject to works council consultation and European competition approval, will allow Wasco to continue expanding its product range and support customers in the Netherlands' energy transition while operating under its own name.

Talley, founded in 1983 and headquartered in Santa Fe Springs/Los Angeles, will contribute roughly $360m of 2024 revenue, operates 11 warehouses with 300+ employees, and the deal is expected to close in June subject to U.S. antitrust approval.
