Armour Excavating LLC, a Texas-based excavating and aggregate materials provider, has acquired R Cedar LLC dba Buck Valley Trucking, a Center Point, Texas hauling company. The acquisition expands Armour’s geographic footprint into Center Point and adds aggregate hauling capabilities and customer relationships to its services.

JDC (Kinderhook-backed) Acquires Atlas Truck Sales and Atlas Bucket Rentals

JDC, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, acquired Atlas Truck Sales, Inc. and Atlas Bucket Rentals, Co., a family-owned provider of bucket truck and digger derrick sales and rentals based in Channelview, Texas. The add-on expands JDC's presence in the Houston/Texas market, increases regional fleet density and service capability, and was financed by a banking syndicate led by Comerica Bank.

DAT Freight & Analytics Acquires Trucker Tools

DAT Freight & Analytics has acquired the operations of Trucker Tools LLC from ASG (a portfolio company of Alpine Investors) to integrate real-time load tracking, automated booking, and digital freight-matching capabilities into its DAT One platform. Trucker Tools will continue to operate under its current leadership, with CEO Kary Jablonski joining the DAT executive team; the deal closed on December 17, 2024.

UTAC, LLC Acquires USA Truck from DSV

DSV has sold 100% of USA Truck to UTAC, LLC, a private Arkansas-based entity formed by current and former USA Truck leaders including CEO George Henry, former CFO Zachary King and former CEO James Reed. The deal returns the 42-year-old carrier to U.S.-based ownership; financial terms were not disclosed and DSV said the sale positions USA Truck for future growth under local management.

John Crane Acquires Industrial Division of Advanced Diamond Technologies

John Crane acquired the Industrial Division of Advanced Diamond Technologies (ADT), based in Romeoville, Illinois, bringing ADT's ultrananocrystalline diamond (UNCD) thin-film technology into John Crane's product portfolio. John Boos & Co. Acquires JK Adams

The acquisition will retain JK Adams' headquarters and staff in Dorset, Vermont, and expand John Boos' product offerings and U.S. footprint while preserving both brands' focus on craftsmanship and sustainable practices.
