Owner Bob Watson will remain with the business to support clients as Skyline continues to integrate dealer operations and expand its regional service footprint; Skyline Exhibits is PE-backed by Gemspring Capital and has been executing dealer acquisitions to grow its platform.

Gemspring Capital Affiliate Acquires Majority Stake in Rapid Displays

An affiliate of Gemspring Capital has acquired a majority interest in Rapid Displays, Inc., a Chicago-based provider of custom point-of-purchase displays, fixtures and related services. Rapid operates more than 1 million square feet of manufacturing and distribution space, employs over 500 people, and will partner with Gemspring to support growth and expand capabilities serving retailers and consumer brands.

Sparks Acquires 3D Exhibits to Expand Midwest Trade-Show Footprint

The add-on expands Core BTS’s Microsoft cloud and application development capabilities and brings Skyline’s leadership (CEO Mitch Weckop) into a senior delivery role at Core BTS.
