Arotech's Advanced Electronics Division Acquires Advance Circuit Technology

The Arotech Corporation's Advanced Electronics Division (AED) has acquired Advance Circuit Technology (ACT), a privately held printed circuit board and microelectronic assemblies company based in Rochester, New York. The acquisition expands AED's electronics manufacturing service capabilities and operational capacity to support growing demand from defense, communications, and medical customers; Greenwich Capital Group (GCG) served as advisor to Arotech on the transaction.

Arotech (ATSD) Acquires Inter-Coastal Electronics

Arotech Corporation's Training and Simulation Division (ATSD), a portfolio company of Greenbriar Equity Group, has acquired Inter-Coastal Electronics, Inc. (ICE), a Mesa, Arizona–based designer and manufacturer of live training and test instrumentation systems. The acquisition adds vertically integrated manufacturing capability and expands ATSD's aviation training solutions, with ICE joining ATSD's FAAC business unit; ICE's president Shawn Kirkpatrick will remain in his role.

Gentherm Acquires Etratech Enterprises

Gentherm Incorporated acquired Etratech Enterprises, Inc., a Burlington, Ontario–based designer and manufacturer of advanced electronic controls and systems, from Etratech shareholders (including minority investor The Shotgun Fund). Etratech, which employs more than 400 people and had estimated revenues of CAD 77 million (about US$61 million) trailing-12-months, was purchased for US$64 million (~8.5x trailing EBITDA).
