East West Manufacturing, LLC acquired Universal Electronics, Inc. (UEI), an advanced electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider based in Whitewater, Wisconsin. The deal expands East West’s U.S. manufacturing footprint and strengthens its domestic EMS capabilities—adding PCB assembly, box-build and testing services to serve medical, industrial and telecommunications customers.

AMETEK Acquires Kern Microtechnik

AMETEK, Inc. has acquired Kern Microtechnik, a German manufacturer of ultra‑precision machining equipment and optical inspection systems, to bolster AMETEK's Ultra Precision Technologies capabilities within its Electronic Instruments Group. Kern is headquartered near Munich, Germany and generates approximately €50 million in annual sales; AMETEK cited technology, market and geographic expansion synergies from the transaction.

AMETEK Acquires Alphasense

AMETEK, Inc. acquired Alphasense, a UK-based designer and manufacturer of gas and particulate sensors for environmental, health & safety, and air quality applications. Alphasense, headquartered in Great Notley, Essex, reported approximately £25 million in annual sales and will join AMETEK’s Electronic Instruments Group to expand its presence in the environmental health and safety market.

Arotech Corporation's Advanced Electronics Division Acquires UST-Aldetec

Arotech Corporation's Advanced Electronics Division (AED) has acquired UST-Aldetec, a privately held design, engineering, manufacturing and services company with sites in Fair Lawn, New Jersey; Sacramento, California; and Reno, Nevada. The acquisition expands Arotech AED's capabilities into RF and microwave product platforms and strengthens its position in defense, communications and medical electronics manufacturing.

AMETEK Acquires FARO Technologies

AMETEK, Inc. has completed its acquisition of FARO Technologies, Inc. for $44.00 per share in cash (approximately $920 million, net of cash acquired). FARO will join AMETEK's Ultra Precision Technologies Division within the Electronic Instruments Group, adding 3D metrology, imaging, software and service capabilities to AMETEK's industrial technology portfolio; FARO reported annual sales of roughly $340 million.

AMETEK Acquires Virtek Vision International

AMETEK, Inc. has acquired Virtek Vision International, a Waterloo, Ontario–based developer and manufacturer of laser-based projection and AI-driven inspection systems. The acquisition brings Virtek into AMETEK’s Electronic Instruments Group to complement its Creaform business and broaden automated 3D scanning, projection and inspection capabilities for aerospace, defense and industrial customers.
