AMETEK, Inc. has acquired United Electronic Industries (UEI), a Norwood, Massachusetts–based designer and manufacturer of data acquisition, test, measurement and control solutions. UEI will join AMETEK's Electronic Instruments Group to expand the company's capabilities in data acquisition and testing across aerospace, defense, energy and semiconductor end markets.
