AMETEK Acquires LKC Technologies

AMETEK, Inc. has acquired LKC Technologies, a Germantown, Maryland-based maker of portable ophthalmic diagnostic devices, including the RETeval handheld ERG system. The seller was DW Healthcare Partners, which had owned LKC as a portfolio company; AMETEK said the deal expands its ophthalmic product portfolio and complements its Ultra Precision Technologies Reichert business.

AMETEK Acquires Virtek Vision International

AMETEK, Inc. has acquired Virtek Vision International, a Waterloo, Ontario–based developer and manufacturer of laser-based projection and AI-driven inspection systems. The acquisition brings Virtek into AMETEK’s Electronic Instruments Group to complement its Creaform business and broaden automated 3D scanning, projection and inspection capabilities for aerospace, defense and industrial customers.

AMETEK Acquires FARO Technologies

AMETEK, Inc. has completed its acquisition of FARO Technologies, Inc. for $44.00 per share in cash (approximately $920 million, net of cash acquired). FARO will join AMETEK's Ultra Precision Technologies Division within the Electronic Instruments Group, adding 3D metrology, imaging, software and service capabilities to AMETEK's industrial technology portfolio; FARO reported annual sales of roughly $340 million.

Kamet Precision Machining & Assembly Acquires MT Systems, Inc.

Kamet Precision Machining & Assembly has acquired MT Systems, Inc., a Milpitas, California-based manufacturer of chemical platforms and wet sub-systems for substrate and wafer processing. The acquisition expands Kamet's capabilities from component manufacturing to systems manufacturing, supports its 'Made in America' strategy and adds MT Systems' 30-person engineering and manufacturing team to Kamet's U.S. footprint.

Teledyne Technologies Acquires ETM-Electromatic

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated has agreed to acquire ETM-Electromatic, Inc., a Newark, California-based designer and manufacturer of high-power microwave and high-energy X-ray subsystems for radiotherapy, defense and security applications. Teledyne will also purchase ETM's purpose-built manufacturing facility from an affiliate of ETM and its owners; financial terms were not disclosed.
