Bluff Point Associates, a Westport, Connecticut-based private equity firm, has acquired Swizznet, a Seattle-based provider of cloud hosting and IT services for CPA firms and accounting departments. The deal is intended to provide additional funding to accelerate Swizznet's product development, sales and support expansion and strengthen Bluff Point's position in financial application hosting for the SMB market.

Bluff Point-backed True North Networks and RightSize Solutions Combine to Form Visory

True North Networks and RightSize Solutions, both portfolio companies of Bluff Point Associates, have been combined to form Visory, a provider of technology management, cybersecurity and hosting solutions serving RIAs, accounting and construction firms. The new platform is headquartered in Chesterfield, Missouri and will continue to operate existing offices while scaling services and recruiting talent across the organization.

Private equity firm Bluff Point Associates has acquired True North Networks, a Swanzey, New Hampshire-based managed services and MSSP focused on SEC-compliant IT for registered investment advisors. The deal (closed March 12, 2021) adds private cloud hosting, managed IT and cybersecurity capabilities to Bluff Point's portfolio of technology companies serving the financial services industry; terms were not disclosed.

insightsoftware Acquires BizNet Software

Genpact Acquires Digital Consultancy Rightpoint
