Beyond Inc. (the Bed Bath & Beyond/Overstock owner) agreed to acquire the global rights to the Buy Buy Baby brand for $5 million, buying assets including domains, databases, IP, vendor relationships and related content. The deal reunites Buy Buy Baby with Bed Bath & Beyond under Beyond’s ownership and positions the company to relaunch the brand online, explore tokenization of IP with tZero, and leverage partnerships (including Kirkland’s) for potential brick-and-mortar integration.

Crown Crafts Acquires Baby Boom Consumer Products

Crown Crafts, Inc. acquired substantially all of the assets of Baby Boom Consumer Products, Inc., expanding Crown Crafts' presence in the toddler bedding category and adding diaper bags and licensed-product offerings. The transaction was financed via an $8 million term loan and additional borrowings under Crown Crafts' revolving credit facility; Crown Crafts paid $18 million subject to customary working capital adjustments.

Kids2 Acquires SUMR Brands (Summer Infant)

Kids2, Inc. will acquire all outstanding common stock of SUMR Brands (Summer Infant, Inc.) for $12.00 per share in an all-cash transaction, implying a 41.2% premium to the March 15, 2022 closing price. The transaction, unanimously approved by SUMR's board and supported by significant stockholders Wynnefield Capital and Jason Macari, is expected to close in Q2 2022 and is subject to shareholder approval and Kids2 securing debt financing; SUMR will become privately held and delisted from Nasdaq upon closing.

HALO Dream (Transom-backed) Acquires BreathableBaby LLC
