TRC Companies, Inc. has acquired Garanzuay Consulting, a Dublin-based advisory and implementation consultancy focused on power system operations, control center operations, electricity market transformation and energy trading systems. The acquisition strengthens TRC’s presence and capabilities in Ireland, the UK and Europe to support utilities, transmission system operators and energy market participants through the energy transition.

Veolia Environnement to Merge Vigie (former Suez) after Noteholder Consent

Veolia Acquires Multiple Hazardous Waste Firms to Expand Global Treatment Capacity

Veolia (via its Veolia North America unit) announced the acquisition of three U.S. hazardous-waste companies—New England Disposal Technologies, New England MedWaste and Ingenium—alongside additional tuck-ins in Japan (Zeeklite Co. LTD) and Brazil (Alagoas Ambiental). The deals form part of a broader GreenUp strategy to add 530,000 tonnes of hazardous waste treatment capacity by 2030 (100,000 tonnes already in operation) and represent roughly €300 million of targeted acquisitions to expand regional coverage and technical capabilities.

ENFRA, a national Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) provider (formerly Bernhard), has acquired River Mechanical Services, a Philadelphia-area mechanical contractor, to expand ENFRA’s Northeast footprint. River Mechanical will continue operating through ENFRA’s Mechanical Resource Contractors (MRC) subsidiary and will be supported by ENFRA’s national scale and asset management capabilities.
