MBP Group Acquires Summit Stairs and Millwork

The add-on deal expands MBP's residential building products line and combines Summit's patented stair product systems and regional footprint with MBP's platform; the transaction closed July 31, 2023 (terms undisclosed).

Division 5 Acquires Structural Steel of Carolina

Division 5 LLC, a portfolio company of Applied Invest LLC (Applied Value Group), has acquired Structural Steel of Carolina (SSC), a Winston-Salem based structural steel fabricator. The deal expands Division 5's fabrication capacity and footprint—creating a combined organization with significant additional square footage and tonnage capacity and providing SSC owners Jim and Mary Brewer a path for the company's next chapter.

Wellspring Capital Management Acquires Steele Solutions, Inc.

The New York-based private equity firm acquired the Milwaukee-headquartered designer and manufacturer of structural steel platforms and mezzanines to support growth and capitalize on long-term e-commerce and warehouse automation trends; financial terms were not disclosed.

Marlin Portfolio Company Linnworks Acquires SkuVault
