Build A Head, LLC acquired the assets of Gift Wrap My Face on October 8, 2021; the Floridian title was transferred in equal parts to partners James Green, Chad Turner and Tyler Turner. Gift Wrap My Face makes customized "selfie" and "smart" wrapping paper and will join Build A Head's portfolio of personalized-product brands focused on celebratory and novelty items.

Creative Brands Acquires C.R. Gibson

Creative Brands, a Phoenix-based distribution, importing and manufacturing subsidiary of CBC Group, has acquired C.R. Gibson, a Nashville-based maker of memory books, stationery and gifting products. The acquisition adds C.R. Gibson’s four brands and broad retail presence (products sold at over 10,000 gift retailers across the U.S., Canada and the U.K.) to Creative Brands’ portfolio.

Creative Brands Acquires P. Graham Dunn

The deal transfers ownership from the company’s employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) to Creative Brands, which plans to expand P. Creative Brands (a subsidiary of CBC Group) has acquired Bella il Fiore, a family-owned Tulsa-based maker of sleep, spa and beauty textiles focused on the specialty gift, spa and wellness markets. Creative Brands said the acquisition will expand its women's sleepwear and spa product offerings and leverage its distribution, field sales, telemarketing and web capabilities to grow the Bella brand.

PaperWorks Industries Acquires Color Craft Graphic Arts

PaperWorks Industries Inc. has acquired Color Craft Graphic Arts, a folding carton manufacturer founded in 1929 and based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Color Craft was a portfolio company of First Capital Partners and was advised by Mesirow; the acquisition adds ~120 employees and expands PaperWorks' integrated folding carton network and mill alignment across North America.

Vision Graphics and Banner Capital Acquire Queen of Wraps

Vision Graphics, in partnership with private equity firm Banner Capital Management, acquired Queen of Wraps, a Utah-based commercial vehicle wrap and large-format graphics provider. Queen of Wraps will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vision Graphics with founders Bryan Griffith and the Griffith family remaining significant owners; the deal is intended as an add-on to the Vision Graphics platform to expand vehicle-wrap capabilities and accelerate geographic growth.
