PaperWorks Acquires The Standard Group

PaperWorks Industries Inc. has completed the acquisition of The Standard Group, a custom printed paperboard packaging converter with a manufacturing facility in Louisville, Kentucky. The deal adds ~120 employees and expands PaperWorks' integrated folding carton footprint and vertical integration across North America; PaperWorks is PE-backed (Gamut Capital Management).

The Kennedy Group Acquires Color Label, Inc.

The Kennedy Group (Willoughby, Ohio) has acquired Color Label, Inc., a St. Louis-based supplier of pressure-sensitive labels serving agricultural and consumer product industries. The deal expands The Kennedy Group’s national footprint into the St. Louis market, shifts production to its Cleveland-area facility while retaining key St. Louis personnel to ensure continuity, and was advised by Graphic Arts Advisors (GAA).

TricorBraun Acquires Craft Beverage Warehouse

TricorBraun has acquired Craft Beverage Warehouse, a Milwaukee-based digital printing specialist for canned beverage brands. The purchase expands TricorBraun’s North American beverage packaging and digital printing capabilities and will be integrated into CanSource, with Craft Beverage Warehouse operating independently until early 2026; financial terms were not disclosed.

Hygloss Products Acquires Color Fantasy Company

Hygloss Products, Inc. has acquired the Color Fantasy Company, adding Color Fantasy’s arts-and-crafts and educational activity product line to Hygloss’s portfolio. Hygloss said it will lower prices on the Color Fantasy products and introduce group economy packs to make the items more affordable and suitable for schools, camps and other group activities.

Inteplast Group Acquires Brown Paper Goods (Brown Paper Products)

Inteplast Group has acquired Brown Paper Goods (now operating as Brown Paper Products) and will integrate the business into its Integrated Bagging Systems (IBS) division. Brown Paper Goods is a Safe Quality Food (SQF) certified manufacturer of single-use paper packaging with operations in Waukegan, Illinois and Coppell, Texas; the transaction closed on April 2, 2024.

Hyperion Materials & Technologies Acquires Crafts Technology

Hyperion Materials & Technologies acquired Crafts Technology, a precision manufacturer of cemented tungsten carbide components, to broaden its engineered hard- and super-hard-materials capabilities and global footprint. Crafts Technology will continue to be led by President and CEO Jeffrey Taylor, and Prairie Capital Advisors served as financial advisor to Crafts on the transaction.
