billwerk Group, the PSG-backed subscription management platform, has acquired Sofacto, a Montpellier-based Salesforce-native subscription management and recurring billing application. The deal adds Salesforce integration and a stronger foothold in the French market to billwerk's pan‑European subscription management offering; Sofacto's CEO Frederi Scotto will remain in place.

Astorg Mid‑Cap will invest a 51% stake in Sofico in partnership with Sofico founders Gémar Hompes and Piet Maes and existing investor Apheon, with the founders and Apheon significantly reinvesting and remaining involved. Sofico, headquartered in Ghent, is a leading software provider for the automotive leasing and mobility industry, employs over 500 experts, serves major global leasing customers, and will use the partnership to accelerate product development, services expansion and M&A; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close in Q1 2024.
