nVent Electric plc has acquired CIS Global LLC, a provider of intelligent rack power distribution units and server rack slides, for approximately $200 million in cash. The acquisition strengthens nVent's data center power and thermal management capabilities and expands its global manufacturing footprint; CIS Global is headquartered in Tucson, Arizona and employs about 850 people worldwide.

Oak Electric Acquires Great Lakes Electric; Northstar Capital Provides Financing to ShoreView-Backed Oak Electric

Northstar Capital provided junior debt and an equity co-investment to help ShoreView finance the add-on, which expands Oak Electric's geography and service offerings; terms were not disclosed.

SpartanNash Acquires Great Lakes Foods

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice Acquires Veritiv Corporation

An affiliate of private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) has completed the acquisition of Veritiv Corporation for $170.00 per share, valuing the company at approximately $2.6 billion. Veritiv, a leading North American distributor of packaging, JanSan/hygiene and print products headquartered in Atlanta, will become a privately held company under CD&R to pursue accelerated organic and inorganic growth and operational improvements.

Veritiv Acquires PAX Global

The deal adds folding carton and film converting capabilities, enhances Veritiv's design and international sourcing, and brings PAX Global's customers in the personal care, food, and pharmaceutical sectors into Veritiv's network.
