Weller Metalworks Acquires Laser Precision

Weller Metalworks, the fabrication platform established by LFM Capital, has acquired Laser Precision, a Libertyville, Illinois-based full-service metal fabricator. The add-on acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands Weller's capabilities in laser cutting, forming, finishing and powder coating to better serve industrial equipment OEM customers.

Fox Innovation & Technologies Acquires Cotter Holdings Group

Fox Innovation & Technologies (a PE-backed platform backed by Bluewater) has acquired Cotter Holdings Group, including S.T. Cotter Turbine Services, Axis Mechanical Group and Axis Industrial Repair, to add field project execution capabilities to its turbomachinery platform. The deal brings the combined Fox platform to over $100 million in proforma LTM revenue and adds ~500 peak-capacity field personnel to expand service coverage across the United States; terms were not disclosed.

Manitowoc Tool & Machining Acquires Mid Valley Industries

Manitowoc Tool & Machining (a portfolio company backed by Summit Equity Group, Midwest Growth Partners and NewSpring Mezzanine) completed the acquisition of Mid Valley Industries, a Kaukauna, Wisconsin-based precision contract manufacturer, on January 17, 2024. The deal is an add-on to MTM's platform and is intended to expand MTM's large turning and milling capabilities and broaden its end-market exposure to heavy equipment, aerospace/defense and energy customers.

Maysteel Industries Acquires Star Precision Manufacturing, Inc.

Maysteel Industries, a portfolio company of Littlejohn Capital, acquired Star Precision Manufacturing, a full-service sheet metal fabrication and precision machining firm in Frederick, Colorado. Patriot Capital provided subordinated debt financing in support of the add-on acquisition, which expands Maysteel's manufacturing capabilities and geographic footprint in the Mountain West.

OX Group Global Acquires Armor Tool
