Holleway Capital Partners Acquires Braner USA, Inc.

Holleway Capital Partners led an investor group that acquired Braner USA, Inc., a Schiller Park, Illinois manufacturer of precision flat-rolled coil processing and automated coil handling systems. The transaction — which included co-investors Aldine Capital Partners, NewSpring Mezzanine Capital and Braner CEO Doug Matsunaga — was advised by Prairie Capital Advisors and was completed to provide liquidity and succession for Braner’s shareholders and to support future growth.

Intelinair Acquires Aker Technologies

Intelinair, an Indianapolis-based provider of aerial imagery and analytics (AGMRI), has acquired Aker Technologies, a digital agronomy and drone-imagery company based in Effingham, Illinois. The deal expands Intelinair’s drone capabilities and product offerings, enhancing its AGMRI platform and operational capacity to better serve farmers and ag retailers; terms were not disclosed.

Milliken & Company Acquires Borchers Group Limited from The Jordan Company

Milliken & Company acquired Borchers Group Limited, a global specialty chemicals provider of coating additives and catalyst solutions, from private equity firm The Jordan Company. The transaction closed on January 28, 2020 and will expand Milliken's specialty chemicals and coatings capabilities while preserving Borchers' ongoing operations and customer relationships.

HEICO Corporation Acquires Majority Stake in Pioneer Industries

HEICO Corporation's Flight Support Group has agreed to acquire a 74% equity interest in Pioneer Industries, a Farmingdale, New York-based specialty distributor of military aviation, marine and ground spares, for cash at closing plus potential contingent consideration. Pioneer founders Robert and David Yormack will retain 26% and remain in their current roles; the transaction is subject to antitrust clearance and is expected to be accretive to HEICO's earnings within a year.

IK Partners Acquires DRIESCHER

IK Partners' IK X Fund has signed an agreement to acquire DRIESCHER GmbH from the founding family shareholders, with the family reinvesting and co-founders of Czech subsidiary DRIBO selling and reinvesting into the Group. DRIESCHER, a German manufacturer of medium- and low-voltage switches and switchgear with ~500 employees across Germany and the Czech Republic, will partner with IK to pursue product innovation, expand aftersales services, grow in Germany and internationally, and consider bolt-on acquisitions.

ERIKS North America Acquires Branham Corporation

ERIKS North America (ENA), a portfolio company of LKCM Headwater Investments, has acquired the assets of Branham Corporation, a Louisville-based fabricator and distributor of industrial hoses, gaskets, conveyor belts and related services. The transaction brings Branham's five fabrication/distribution plants, eight sales locations and a team of more than 100 employees into ENA's North American platform to expand geographic coverage and product/service capabilities.
