DPIS Builder Services, a Saw Mill Capital portfolio company, acquired the Home Energy Division of Ensign Building Solutions to strengthen its East Region capabilities and expand its HERS rating and energy inspection services in the Southeast. The add-on expands DPIS's national footprint and increases its scale within builder services, contributing to a combined staff base of over 600 locally positioned employees across the U.S.

Saw Mill Capital Partners II, LP and affiliated funds managed by Saw Mill Capital LLC acquired DPIS Engineering, LLC, dba DPIS Builder Services, a Houston-based provider of outsourced engineering, inspection, energy efficiency, and quality assurance services for single-family homebuilders. Terms were not disclosed; CIBC Cleary Gull acted as exclusive financial advisor to DPIS and this marks the sixth investment from Saw Mill's most recent fund.

Pelican Energy Partners, a Houston-based private equity firm, has acquired Electrical Builders Industries (EBI), a St. Cloud, Minnesota-based industrial electrical and welding services provider that specializes in bus duct installation, replacement and repair for power generation facilities. The deal positions Pelican to expand its capabilities in the nuclear energy services supply chain and support increased baseload power needs for customers including datacenter facilities.
